About KRA

Kirklees Roofing and Asphalt Ltd is a family run business established in September 1995 by Philip and Pamela Mountain.

We have over thirty years experience in producing high quality workmanship in built up felt roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, GRP roofing, liquid applied waterproofing, mastic asphalt flooring, roofing and tanking, slating, tiling, leadwork and rooflight work.

We are currently members of Constructionline, Confederation of Roofing Contractors and are local authority and CHAS approved (Contractor Health and Safety Assessment Scheme). We have a good working relationship with several local authorities and housing associations including East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Kirklees Metropolitan Council, Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale, Barnsley Metropolitan Council and Leeds City Council.

We are approved installers for the following Waterproofing systems:

• Pluvitec, Axter, Icopal, Iko, Garland (Reinforced bituminous membranes and Hot Melt Waterproofing)
• Firestone, Alwitra, Flag and Icopal single-ply roofing systems
• Topseal GRP, Kemper System, Tor Coatings, Belzona, Liquid Rubber and Icopal liquid applied
